About Me

My Experience

My work across Learning & Development, Learning Experience Design, and Learning Strategy is grounded in a simple idea: effective learning starts with understanding people, including how they learn, what they already know, and what gets in the way when they try to apply something new in real-world environments.  

I've designed and led strategic L&D programs for academic, professional, and executive audiences at York University, through the English Language Institute, the School of Continuing Studies, and the Schulich School of Business. At Schulich, one of Canada's leading business schools, I designed executive and workforce development programs on workplace communication, leadership, and professional skills for professionals in business, finance, and HR, including programs delivered for Deloitte Mexico, Tec de Monterrey, and Meiji University. Over my career, I've worked with thousands of learners across more than 30 countries, from first-year university students to executives.

My work spans learning needs analysis, L&D strategy, learning program architecture, instructional design, and evaluation. I combine ADDIE's structured analysis with SAM-style rapid prototyping, so solutions are tested with real learners and refined along the way. I partner closely with SMEs, faculty, and business stakeholders to turn complex content and performance needs into learning built around practice, feedback, and application, not information delivery. 

Today, through Elevate English Studio, I bring strategic L&D and professional communication training to multilingual teams and global professionals. I build digital learning environments that use generative AI, scenario-based practice, and real-time coaching, so learners practise the conversations they actually face and get feedback they can apply right away.

I hold a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master's in Applied Linguistics focused on language learning pedagogy. Together, they give me a dual perspective: I understand the business context that learning has to serve, and how adults actually learn and apply new skills, especially language skills.

I love what I do. There is something incredibly fulfilling about learning something new—and then helping someone else master it, too. That is why I choose this work: it is my contribution to helping people grow and make meaningful progress, one learning objective at a time.
